Being a missionary has changed so much of my thinking.  I am often isolated and spending time by myself in conversation with myself, people would laugh if they knew all that passed through my brain daily. What was important in my previous life, no longer seems important.  In these alone, often lonely times, my life gets examined and re-examined by me.  I wonder what if... what if I could do more, what if I could do something different, what if what I do won't be enough?  I imagine that most people will agree that this is something they go through at least once in their life.

I am trying to live this life with no regrets, I know I will always have some, but I want my life to matter to God, in the end that is the only thing that is important.  I know I have tried to influence others to deepen their walk with God, to be more open and real about how tough this walk with God is and will be until we reach the end of our race.  I pray that it is a lasting influence, not just a temporary fleeting one.  I believe that the Jesus School of Discipleship students we have been able to impact will change the world for Christ in amazing big and small ways.  I believe that this legacy will live far beyond anything I could have done in my own strength and my own plans.

Most people will not ever be called to leave their homes and families to travel to distant nations, but what they do right where they are could change just one life.  Jesus said the good shepherd will leave the 99 to chase the one sheep that has gone astray. That one life we touch, mentor or disciple is important to God. Stepping up and taking the chance to share what you have learned and how you have grown in Christ to the one God leads you to, is World Changing. Changing the world of just one person.  This reminds me of a shampoo commercial when I was a kid, it said that you tell one friend and they tell one friend and they tell one friend, until the whole screen was filled with faces. What if the one you disciple, disciples one, who disciples one, who disciples one.  What kind of impact would that make on your church, your city, your state...

Couldn’t we all just disciple one?  Ask God to send you just one, one hungry and ready to learn soul.  You will be amazed at what God can do with your obedience, His mandate to the church is to make disciples. In changing one life you will change your own!  I have traveled now to my second nation in obedience to His call, I am learning to just salute and say, “Yes, Sir” when He directs. Thank you for your interest in our journey and we love that you pray for us, we need you to continue to support us in this journey wherever it may take us.

The pictures are just ones from what we do in Ghana, I posted the lower one so you could see the kids listening through the window. There are ones hungry around you, choose those!
